Role Play Examples

Fighting:

Petaldance looked around for a good opponent, and she pinpointed the enemy cat. She narrowed her eyes. Petaldance leaped toward the enemy cat, swiping her paw at Leapingfish's face violently.

*You do not have to do it exactly like that, but be sure to add the dice roll before you say anything about missing/getting a normal hit/getting a critical hit.

*After studying the dice roll and if you missed, got a normal hit, or got a critical hit, RP out the other half, if you missed or successfully administered the attack.

(Petaldance has succeeded because she got a 15.) Petaldance slashed Leapingfish's face. (Leapingfish got 5 damage from that attack.)

*If the other player had posted while you were still typing your post, it will not be counted. It is your turn, and your turn only.

*One attack per turn, to keep it simple.

*Once you have finished your other half of the attack, the enemy must deduct from his health correctly. He can then choose whether or not to run off or keep fighting.

Hunting:

Jaywing ran through the forest, chasing a plump rabbit. He leaped over a large fallen tree swiftly, watching the white rabbit dart from side to side. As the rabbit started to slow down as it came near its hole, Jaywing pounced.

*You do not have to do it exactly like that, but be sure to add the dice roll before you say anything about catching/missing the prey.

*After studying the dice roll and if you missed or not, RP out the other half, if you missed or succeeded in the catching of the prey.

(Jaywing has succeeded because he got a 4.) Jaywing bit into the rabbit's neck, snapping it. He buried his prey, giving thanks to StarClan for its life.
